Enough Is Enough

Fights go on all the time, and the net has been a place of flames and worse for some time. The better blogs have steered clear of it, and watching some of what I have seen is enough to make me reconsider the use of comments on posts, save that I want to encourage rational debate.

For now, I have to blog pseudo-anonymously because of potential contractual (i.e. job) problems, so I very much identify with a despicable act that has been committed by a troll. While I will in no way, shape, or form discuss or take sides on what led up to it, someone has lost a job over this bullshit. The way it was done was despicable, cowardly, and a few things worse than that. Whomever did it has no honor, is beneath contempt, and needs to be rooted out. If you do have any knowledge about this matter, get it to Veronica ASAP. No matter what went on before or who was right and who was wrong, this crosses a line and makes it hunting season. The person who did this, and any who hide them or aid them, need to be exposed and dealt with by all means legal and by being shunned by those with honor.
