Attacks, Attacks

No, not referring to Iraq but to the net and blogs. Today we face yet another attack from the Sun, with a solar storm/coronal mass discharge scheduled to hit the Earth today. After Friday’s event, I lost DSL for a while so am not looking forward to today.

Also, the too-tight-turban crowd appears to be planning another DDOS attack against Internet Haganah at the old address. This means that Hosting Matters could go down again, especially if those upstream (Hint, bloody Hint AT&T!) don’t remove their collective thumbs from certain orifices and join in the fight. Meantime, go support IH with a donation or three.

On an interesting note, after the page in question got posted at Evil Cardinal Puppilieu, it has gone to password protection to keep people out. Neat, and shows that they are aware that people are watching. Just hope the hackers had enough time to get some good info on the crackers…

If things do go down here and elsewhere, remember to go to InstaWolf (http://instawolf.blogspot.com) where I will post and where I have a listing of emergency backup sites for several blogs.
