Superbowl Halftime

Whoop. As in big whoop. Didn't see it and apparently didn't miss anything. Yep, they pulled an asinine stunt that has offended a lot of people. You were expecting maybe talent from those two? The halftime show has gone downhill for years, and this was the lowest yet. Can't even figure a good target demographic for it. Want some real talent? Get Heather Alexander, Loreena McKinnet, Garbage, Bond, Dido, Sarah McLachlan, or other people who have truly got it.

I was thinking a Yes/Emerson, Lake & Palmer/Jethro Tull combo pack, doing 2 songs from each in rotation, you know, folk with *talent* that write and sing their own stuff, play their own instruments...

Get over it. It is no big deal. People are just looking for law suits and money and anything to bitch about. I thought half time was awesome and better than anyone else cold do! Nobody say's nothing when people come to the Grammys half naked so why should it matter?

I think that justin timberlake and janet did this as a publicity stunt. Everyone now days is looking for something to talk about especially about the superbowl. Just the game doesn't cut it for everyone. They need to choose better people to perform such as alicia keys, outcast, india arie, or bring back some old soul such as the temptations or other classical groups. It's not all about the teen idols that's going to entertain everyone anymore, it's getting played out.
