Armed Forces Day

According to the calendars about the lair, either today or next Tuesday is Armed Forces Day. Blackfive, as usual, has up a good post that says things well. As for me, all I will do is ask you:

Remember those Citizens who fought to give us our country, and formed its first army
Remember those Citizens who formed armies to keep us free
Remember those Citizens who sacrificed to keep us free
Remember those Citizens who even now, sacrifice of themselves to keep us free
Remember them this day, salute them, and thank them
For they keep faith, so that we remain free
