Ozzy

Sorry guys, I can’t get too worked up over this one. Yep, he joined the obligatory far left Bush=Hitler crowd to try and be a part of the “cool” group. From all reports, the effort was formulaic, derivative, and lacking any real talent or originality. In short, about what Ozzy himself has become musically and otherwise. Not going to throw out any of his music I may have, but sure will not be buying any new or watching any show or commercial of his – or supporting any products that use him. I really do pity him…

I attended Ozzfest today, having only heard about the Bush=Hitler movie earlier this week. Despite how much I wanted to see Black Sabbath, me, my gf, and my friend over at One Man's Rage (onemansrage.typepad.com) walked out of the show just before Sabbath was set to take the stage. We purposefully showed up late so as not to hear the moonbats from Otep spew their filth.

Screw them! Who are they to come to our country and tell us our president is like Hitler. From what I heard Otep's spew got no response from the Virginia crowd. Phil from Super Joint Ritual praised the troops and got loud cheers. He then said that he wasn't sure if we should or shouldn't be there but maybe we should bring the troops home. No response at all from the crowd. The singer for Lamb of God wore an anti Bush shirt, which pissed me off cause I had really liked Lamb of God. Zack Wylde came out totally supportive of the troops which was nice to see.

Personally I hate hearing politics from these idiots when I go to a concert. I want music to be fun and a nice break from the everyday worries... just get out there, entertain and keep your opinions to yourself!
