A Different Perspective On Government

Yesterday’s post brought to mind a very different perspective on government. Most everyone sees government as something that simply is no matter what other thoughts exist. Think about this today: your government is like any other business that exists to serve you, all the more so here in the United States where we are the Government. Are you getting your money’s worth?

Government provided services have no difference from privately provided services. Or, at least they should not. Do you get good service from your government? Are the service people friendly, customer oriented, and providing good service? Do they provide a good product, at a good price, with high reliability?

If not, why are you continuing to patronize them? After all, you are the Government, it is your money, and you can make a change. Why are you not demanding of your government what you would demand from the least fast food restaurant? Why are you not holding your Government to the highest standards of product and service?
