Kerry: It's All Lies And It's All Bush's Fault!

The news just had a clip of Kerry's response to the SWIFTboats ad: It is all lies, and since a Republican gave money to them, it is all Bush's fault. As always, not a single specific as to what is a lie, etc. Just broad brush, deny, and chant the mantra of the opposition "It is all Bush's fault." Just once, I wish he would supply some specifics on anything. So far:

Economy: No specifics
Terror: No specifics
Miltary: No specifics
You name it: No specifics

Hard for an opponent to debate you, contrast positions, etc., when you don't hold a firm position on ANY subject and never, ever, give a single specific on any topic.

Well, in the absence of any viable third-party candidate, I am going to join blogs for Bush even though I disagree with him on things ranging from stem cells to the Patriot Act. Where he gets my vote is on the military and on his prosecution of the War on Terrorism. For me, since I want a future for any potential children, it becomes a single issue campaign for me. Life or death. It is just that simple. It might not have been, had Kerry not lied, taken a stand on any issue, and provided any specifics on any issue or situation.

LW

UPDATE: Bet this complaint filed with DoD is also a partisan attack by Bush. I do wonder how he will react to this, or if he will. I also wonder, as does Val, when he will release all of his military records.

Terribly sorry, but there are at least two issues upon which Mr. Heinz-Kerry is definite:

1) He will not vacate his Senate seat.

2) He will not refund to the massachusetts taxpayers those monies illegally paid him during his 80%+ absences from his day job.

LOL! Too true. I also forgot that any attempt to point out discrepancies, ask for specifics, etc., is a vicious and partisan smear and an attempt to discredit him. Or that he very strangely ignores his years in the Senate in his campaign...

Every time the Chancletero opens his mouth, we a hit with yet another lie. The man stands for nothing, agrees with himself on nothing, and offers us absolutely nothing.

For me, the more either of them speaks, the less capable I find myself of pulling the lever for either of them without heaving last night's catch all over whichever hackable "ballot device" we're allowed to "vote" on this time.

Kerry's medals hinge on the accuracy of self-written reports on engagements.

Bush defends the country, while gutting the Constitution.

(heave)

I would write in for McCain, but as soon as I decide to do that HE spouts forth some insane crap.

I'm probably going to have to write in for Joe Biden. But now that I've said that, HE'LL do or say something incredibly stupid.

It's a shame I've been taking the time to keep up on the news from Scotland. Otherwise, I'd probably consider a move to Dundee as the best option--short of moving to Mars; and THAT bus ain't due to leave for another twenty or thirty years. But with the ever-deepening scandal around the overspend on the new parliament complex at Holyrood, the virtual assassination of Scottish Opera by the "culture" ministry, petrol about to hit £5 a gallon (90p per liter, which comes to about $1.60 per QUART, you piker Americans), and many lovely villages getting washed down glen with the outrageous, fur-soaking monsoons they've been getting lately; about the only reason to go there is the access to what's left of a pretty good passenger rail system.

Too bad the USA Amtraked ours into oblivion. Thank you, American Roadbuilder's Association lobbyists.
