Some Additional Food For Thought

Tammi makes a very good point here. Are you registered? Will you exercise both your right and your duty? If you don’t vote, you have no right to complain and I have no sympathy for you. If you don’t take the time to research the candidates and exercise your franchise responsibly, I have no time or respect for you or your opinions. Take the time, and do your job. Register. Research. Vote. No excuses, just do it.

Indeed I am registered and indeed I shall vote.

Last election, I even checked with the local firemen and asked them who they wanted for fire chief. We elect those hereabouts, and the old chief was retiring... I knew nothing about the two new candidates and the paper was not covering them. I'm a bit obsessive about civic duty...

I'm registered, but I'm more concerned that my vote will be invalidated by one of the 46,000 indivdiuals who are registered to vote both in NY and Florida.
