“It’s Like Fuggin 9-11 Never Happened”

The good folks at Cox and Forkum have up their take on this, as pointed out by in continuing coverage by Allah. It is interesting to note the difference between the two conventions: Protestors caged and barred from most activities, and protestors given full rights of citizenship. Some have moved well beyond the rights into active breaking of the law, but does that really surprise anyone?

The fact is, for the majority of these people 9-11 did not happen. It does not exist in their world, and if you read what they write and listen to what they speak, even if it did happen it does not matter. For, you see, it was our fault. We deserved it and reaped what we had earned by not having abandoned our way of life and taken up internationalism. The people in the towers? Well, they were all greedy capitalists working to make millions off the sweat of others, or were otherwise willing lackeys who by choosing to be exploited had forfeited the rights normally granted to such people.

If you strip the rhetoric down to logic, and parse out what is being said, it seems to break down into two groups: America is evil and is the true problem in the world; and, those who hate Bush so much that nothing he does can be right and therefore must be opposed in the strongest ways possible. When the law is not on your side, break it for might makes right and the end justifies the means.

Ah yes, the true brownshirts are revealed.
