Hurricane Frances Update

Well it seems Chris Muir is having to evacuate now. I think he would be well advised to go hook up with Boudicca or Tammi (still in her old/temporary blog digs) when he pulls out. I wish they would all join up with Val and come up to Atlanta or even to Chattanooga for an unofficial bash to ride things out. Then, we could link up with other bloggers and interested parties, and go down and help dig them out as needed. I will be posting updates and more links as I can today. Be safe all of you, and my thoughts and best wishes are with you.

Update: Rand Simburg is bugging out too.

Update: Slatibartfast continues to post good images and tracks despite having to batten down and look at possible evac.

Good luck to all in Florida, especially those on the East Coast as this storm looks to be a real mother. Some are expecting that it could end up a Cat V, and that would make Andrew look like a summer thunderstorm.

Updates can be found here and here. 9/7 Update is HERE

Andrew was a category 5. It was upgraded after the fact.

I saw somewhere that they think Charley had gone to Category 5 just as it hit shore, too. Sigh. But this is a wide one. It's going to do some (more) major damage.

To get your sister back, you could try someone like the National Guard if you can reach them and hopefully, they will answer your plea.

Oh, and if that doesn't work, please keep in mind that I am only 12, so my mind has limits on the plains of thought it wonders.
