Analyze This?

Okay, for those of you into the weird, analyze this.

Small team, something big. We end up at our vacation place, it is dark and rainy. I get advice from my Dad, apologize for getting him up keeping him up. No problem he says, but as I look out onto the night and the parking area, it suddenly is sunlight but the same time. We are in Japan and having to do a hostile covert insertion. If you can think of anything more fun than getting a group of large gaijin through a hostile border check, I would love to know what it is. I also think you have a weird definition of fun.

Once across, it is not so bad. We are on a bullet train, most of the time, and the people are surprisingly friendly. Especially for Japanese under the circumstances. Really scary, almost like a set-up. We pass a station and I see some bus-like things (more like some sort of counter-grav shuttle) with people in them, and remark that we should have used them like we did the last time. Bad. Bad thing to say, as the last time never happened, and must not be mentioned. This is the first time, the only time. I lose myself in the beautiful scenery of Japan, and try not to think. Thinking can only get me in trouble since we have “never” been here before and have never done this before, even though we have. I do not trust the situation or our contacts. I look at the scenery, and try not to think or remember before.
