What I Miss This Morning

Well, I have a pot of my favorite Fireside Blend made and may try something different tomorrow to see if I can get closer to what I had in Austria. Strong but not bitter. Meantime, I remember quite fondly:

As good as that is, I think this was even better:

Better yet:

And best yet, at the Cafe Sacher for Saturday morning breakfast:

Yes, that is a slice of real Sacher Torte with one of my favorite coffees. Nope, not a standard breakfast even on this trip (usually meat and cheese), but oh so good. Probably a very good thing that I was walking five miles or so each day.

Well, I did bring my cousin's back a small Sacher torte for all they did for me. Should I tell you that? *EG*

I now have breakfast envy! It seems like you had a wonderful time (except for the cruise).

BTW, did you take those pictures with a digital camera or a camera phone?

LOL! I love that term. :) I took the pictures with a Nikon CoolPix 990, and reduced them for the web. I've found a good way to keep detail yet get small is to go into Photoshop, reduce it to a one inch wide image, and save for Web. I then take that image, open, and change it to 150 dpi and then reduce it yet again to one inch wide. Result is a very nice image only about 40kb in size, but with a fair amount of detail.

I did have a good visit, despite the jerks on the boat and a bad/broken seat on the flight over. Will be telling more about some of it in the days ahead. And sharing more pictures of food. :)

More pictures of food?!!! You need to post a drool alert. That's such a far cry from my sticks and twigs cereal I eat for breakfast!
