Not Anti-War, Pro-Terrorist

This one goes under terrorism no matter how you cut it. The perp is as cowardly a terrorist as any in the Middle East, attacking from behind and bravely running away when confronted. Or, you can look at it as that the perp is not so much anti-war, as they are pro-terrorist. By their actions judge them. Cowardly, terrorist scum.

The soldier, on the other hand, is everything his attacker will never be: brave, intelligent, honorable, etc. I wish Foster Barton a speedy recovery, a fast return to his unit, and a safe return back home.

Okay, you've made a charge here with no documentation. The article I cite has documentation, and the conflicting witnesses claim is rather lame given that the ONLY conflicting witness was a friend of the attacker. Show me a citation for your claim in a reputable newspaper, and I will even give you the NYT though it is the paper with a record, and I will give you credence. Put up or shut up.

Heck, I didn't watch a lot of the conventions, either one, but I sure don't remember this. To help you back up your claim, and keep it from being a baseless bit of slander, I will give you some additional sources for citation. Since it was a visual moment, in addition to photographs in a reputable publication, I will suggest that you look to links from the broadcast outlets there: CBS, Fox, ABC, NBC, Al-J, heck, any of the accredited media outlets present. Given that what you describe would have drawn immediate, long, and loud media coverage in the Old Media, as well as condemnations in most of the blogosphere, dollars to donuts you can't find any video showing this. If you can, that is your citation. Prove your charge, here is another way to do it. Otherwise, don't darken the doorway here again, as I don't react well to false charges from any side.

Surprise, Surprise, a fake e-mail addy to boot. Yes, I sent them an e-mail with my comments, to give them a chance to reply and engage in rational discourse. Seems that is beyond them. Not surprised.

Well, as the comments show, there was a comment here. I have removed it given that a false e-mail addy was used; a baseless charge was made in regards activities at the RNC; and, a tasteless, baseless, and possibly slanderous/libelous charge was made against Foster Barton. For all those reasons, I have removed the comment.

No...not false, an old one I'd forgotten had lapsed.

See the ABC channel 7 clip here

Page is not opening for me. Also, do you have anything other than Act Up? Sorry, they just don't do it for me as a reputable source. I would much prefer a link to the ABC 7 site.

Sorry....I am hopelessly technically challenged. It was the only one I could copy down to type in. I am woefully inept at this computer stuff...except for e-mail type things.

I will keep trying to get a better link to the item for you.

Wish me luck!
