Kerry Debate Cheat Betting Pool

I will not weigh in on the issue, others are pointing out the issue far better. No, what I want to do is start a pool on how long it is before Kerry blames it on an underling. Bets anyone?

geez, thanks for including me - talk about being surrounded by power!! LOL

My whole point is the fact that it happened. Don't care if it was a factor in the debate, in fact pretty sure it wasn't. I'm looking at the reflection it has on his character (yeah, right). What I take away from the incident is that he feels the rules don't apply to him, shows that Elitist (sp) attitude that I've seen for so long from him.

I'm sure no one will make a big deal of it (no one being the MSM) and that the Kerry campaign will probably ignore the whole thing. I just care that it happened. He agreed to the rules, he should have to follow them. If it were so innocent, then he should have given it to the proper parties ahead of time so they could have followed procedure.

I know, I'm beating a dead horse, but hey, it's what I do so well. :)

I agree comletely, and that is why I am leaving it with you and others. To me, the ultimate proof of the lack is the always-blame-the-underling, from the shabby treatment of the Secret Service agent to the "staff" that always take the blame for everything else including assault weapons. I can't wait to see how long it is before that is cited in this case as well.

He didn't cheat -- had a pen, but used it to take notes on what Bush said (see here: http://dmobley.blogspot.com/2004/10/kerry-cheated-i-dont-think-so.html). So my bet is that he never mentions the accusations.

Sorry, not buying the pen story. The video shows a different tale...

Plus, the rules clearly state ANY object being used during the debate, paper to take notes on, pens/pencils to write with MUST be given over to staff or commission ahead of time and THEY will place on podium.

Like I said - it's not what it was, it's the fact that he didn't follow the rules. Period. Consistant with everything I've seen in his character.
