What Do You Risk
In Afghanistan, an historic event is underway. The people there are voting. They are literally risking their lives to do so, and know that they may suffer attacks, rapes, and more even if they keep their lives. Yet, a large number are taking this risk knowing full well the consequences.
What do you risk here? You might have to take some time off from work, or maybe even miss some time sitting on the couch and a bit of television. You might have to drive a little out of your way. Gee, what risk.
People have died and are going to die to exercise their right to vote. So, what will be your excuse for not voting this year?
