Monday Around The Sphere

Eric has a good good message for corporations anywhere.

Rand reports that the last chance this year for decent suborbital launch legislation is being held hostage by one perp. We are not amused at this, anymore than we were about ignorant efforts to kill commercial space by overregulation.

The Smallest Minority continues to document efforts to return the right of self defense to subjects of the English collar Crown. He also points to a must read article dealing with such things as values, self-defense, and evil. Kim deserves a hat tip in this as well.

While I am not participating in the Spirit of America Blog Challenge this year, I will throw my weight behind the Fighting Fusileers for Freedom. So as Teresa points out, donate as a Fusileer and save a kitty!

Kelley is off reading but misses Oxford Books. So do I, both for the books and the fact that being weekend night manager was my first job out of college. Weird work environment in many ways and politics that were incredible, but I do miss some of the people and most especially some of the customers.

Even amidst the siege by spammers, Sir Banagor takes the time to thank his regular readers. Allow me to also say thank you to mine as well.

Sgt. Hook swipes a good one from Jen. Reminds me that I need to tell the “Jesus Nut” story one day as performed by a Crew Chief/Mechanic. Until then, get out the tissues and go read the story of his Final Formation with his current unit, a promise to some troopers and some other heroes oft forgot to meet them on Fiddler’s Green, and his account of the duffel bag drag.

Yet another show trial is underway by the Commissar. I do hope that trackbacks work properly today.

A belated Happy Blogday to Parkway Rest Stop! It has been a great two years, and I am looking forward to many more.

On The Third Hand has some good reading here on The Sopranos having the backs of soldiers in Iraq, lets Tenent show why he is an idiot and we are well rid of him at the CIA, and of course a lot more. Just start at the top and scroll down.

Kim does a most interesting Sunday and Saturday Skin feature, but that is not the only reason to read him. Things like his series of posts on why national ID cards are a very bad idea are why you should read him.

DaGoddess has the goods on a great column that all of us need to read. Thank you Kevin, and thank you to the veteran who came forward to tell his story.

That should keep you busy for a while. Enjoy.

The URL link at my name goes to some photo evidence of the Sopranos in Mosul - picture courtesy of one of my favorite soldiers!
