Moving Right Along

Well, this one will be short for now because of all that needs be done. Slept in yesterday morning until 0500, then proceeded to get the apartment. It is tight, average utilities were considerably under most of the houses by a significant amount, and it has a fireplace both for romance and for heat if the power goes out. Yes, it has a gas furnace (and an electric stove, drat it) but modern gas furnaces require electricity to run. To be honest, I bet I can hook a UPS up to it if I need to... The apartment is also .75 miles the long way from where I work, so easy walk. It is paid for through the end of January (ouch) and includes covered parking. Utilities are set up, I stopped by where I will be working and visited a bit, and then went and opened an account at the company credit onion. This was all done by lunch, and I then turned around and drove back to Atlanta, arriving about 2200 last night. More soon.
