May 19, 2005Ouch, Part IIAt least it is not as bad as Sunday... I had the chance to put in several solid hours yesterday and took it. Net result is that the back hall and stairwell now have their first coat of primer, the living room ceiling got about two, the dining room ceiling got a coat of primer, the master bedroom and walk-in closet got first coat on walls and ceiling, and I started laying down the main colour (gold 3) in the solarium. I am not moving well this morning... Normally, I use an extension pole on walls and ceilings, but several of the spaces required doing it by hand -- this after doing all the prep work by hand. Am eager/anxious to see how the gold colour turned out, as I got to that late and had to quit painting because it had gotten too dark to see what I was doing. Plan for today is to go buy yet more paint (almost 10 gallons of primer so far) as I need more primer and some specialty primer for a couple of very old (I hope) water stains that have shown up. Goal for the weekend is to get the solarium, dining room, living room, and master bedroom done; and, to start priming the den and kitchen. Kitchen will be a bear as I need to take down some cabinets, move others up, re-arrange some appliances... And to fill the hot tub so I can soak my very sore self... LW Comments Darn, that is a lot of primer, at this rate you will never make it over here to paint. Posted by: ArmyWifeToddlerMom at May 19, 2005 01:37 PMSweetie, wish I could help! All I can send is some positive thoughts your way hoping that help will come soon or an easy day will come faster. Thanks for keeping us posted!
