A Semi-Final Note On The Floors
I've been ordered to quit beating myself up over messing up on the floors (that is not my job, but the job of the women in my life I am told, to which I respond "Promises, Promises" *VBEG*), so a quick post on a triumph. The edging was a bear, in a very bad way. $80 worth of sander belts, bought out Lowes, and it was not enough. So, I ended up getting creative with the big, heavy orbital sander. If you pick them up, angle them right, and do some other things not by or in the book, they can and will edge very nicely. Just be careful doing it...

Don't beat yourself up about anything. Why bother? It doesn't change what happened and it doesn't fix anything.
Now, let's discuss this awful shade of green on my wall.
