Who Painted... ?

One of the fond memories I have of the ex involve a game we played, often while driving. Towards sunset, we would gaze at the sky and try to guess what famous, or not so famous, artist had painted it, the game being predicated on the concept that artists would find employment in the hereafter painting on the greatest canvas of all -- the sky.

This scene at sunrise recently reminded me of that game:

The photo does not do justice to the range and intensity of colour that was there, and to my mind it was Maxfield Parrish. What say you?
