Others are covering and saying all that needs to be said, which is mostly "Get Out Of There!" to the people in the likely path. All we can do is hope and pray, and be prepared to help in the aftermath. Also, I will note that some lessons have obviously been learned on the local level, as shown by Generation Why (with a hat tip to Michelle Malkin once again).

What we're seeing is how difficult it is to 'get out of there'. This is a nightmare for these folks. This is why unless you're in an evac zone, they tell you in S. Fl to stay put. You're better off in your home if you're not in a zone, then stuck in your car.
