The hurricane season from hell. I'm feeling really bad for the people in Haiti right now. Their massive deforestation by their hugely corrupt governments are continuing to kill their citizens with every hurricane due to mudslides. Alpha is there now, I think.

The folks on the West coast... wow. It's unnerving. We just don't know what they're going to get. The weather guys are pretty good a predicting landfall within 30 miles or so, this close to landfall, but predicting intensification seems to be that ellusive brass ring.

As of 11AM, Jupiter Inlet appears to be the exit point for Wilma. That's about 15 miles from me as a crow flies... I am SW of the inlet.

We're putting shutters up. I'm over it, as are all Floridians.

I've got a list of webcams (while they last).

Still pretty quiet in North Miami Beach.
