March 28, 2006IT People: Yet Anothe Reason To Avoid DellAs if they didn't have a bad enough reputation, check out this entry detailing how they are refusing to honor their warranty. Also, if you don't check out The Origin Of Soul on a regular basis, you should. LW Posted by wolf1 at March 28, 2006 12:10 PM | TrackBackComments I once liked Dell. My last two computers though were from Alienware. The hardware they used was top of the line and their tech support was stellar. I was bummed to hear that Dell has now bought Alienware. It will only be a matter of time before Dell brings down to their level all the things that made me buy from "not Dell." Any reason my post will not take because of "questionable content" which is my url? Posted by: NOTR at March 28, 2006 04:50 PMBlogspot recently got hit with a wave of spam sites when, apparently, bots/programs were able to get past site security. This resulted in a massive wave of trackback spam, and when Blogspot appeared to be slow to respond, it got them added to many MT Blacklist lists, including mine. Given how slow (don't know if they have truly dealt with it yet) they were, I am loathe to remove them from said list as de-spamming ended up taking what little blogging time I had... I may wait a week or two and see what happens. Posted by: Laughing Wolf at March 28, 2006 05:01 PMThat's funny, I've had a number of Dells and never had any problem that they didn't promptly fix.
